Almost all of my bookings come from referrals from past couples, occasionally people find me online and book through the website, and sometimes I meet engaged couples by chance. But for the wedding of Lindsey and Chris back in July, I was booked by a friend of my Mums for a friend of hers who was getting married. Links don't get much looser than that! Regardless of how we came together though, I got on with Lindsey and Chris from the moment we met and we planned out a great day together at Lion Quays Hotel in Oswestry where they would be tying the knot. Lindsey's friend Karen who had booked me was taking care of all of the venue decoration which meant that the place would be looking top notch, so overall I was really excited. I arrived at the bridal prep with my second shooter and we introduced ourselves to everybody before blending in and capturing the morning as it unfolded. I headed off briefly to see Chris and his groomsmen before coming back to Lindsey looking amazing in her dress, and we were all set!

A very powerful and sincere ceremony followed, and two soulmates were officially brought together as one. With the sun shining bright, everybody headed outside for drinks and a group photo before we all toasted the happy couple with some confetti. Well I just took some photos. After heading back inside for some emotional speeches, I finally got some time alone with the couple for a quick tour of Lion Quays stunning grounds. It's always nice for the couple to enjoy their first bit of married life together away from all of the guests, and for me letting this unfold naturally always produces perfect candid moments for me to capture. As the evening arrived so did the rest of the invited guests, and the party kicked off as always with the first dance, and that was our cue to head off after a job well done.
